SOUTH MOUNTAIN 5th GRADE — CALENDAR OF EVENTS

October
10/1 – Fifth Grade Friday Fun Night. Pizza and movie 6:15.  All proceeds to benefit 5^th grade class
10/4 –10/18 – Holiday Pie Sale. Order pies for Thanksgiving and all the winter holidays.  All proceeds to benefit the 5^th grade class
10/23 – PTA Fall Festival. Fifth grade “pan for prizes” fundraiser to benefit the 5^th grade class.  (rain date 10/30)

November
11/15 – Camping trip installment payment of $50 due.
11/23 – Holiday pies delivered.

December
12/10 – Fifth Grade Friday Fun Night. All proceeds to benefit 5^th grade class.
12/23 – 5^th Grade International Festival

January
1/17 – Camping trip installment payment of $50 due.
TBD – Fifth Grade Friday Fun Night. All proceeds to benefit 5^th grade class.
TBD – Used Book Sale. Donated used books to be sold to students and parents.  All proceeds to benefit 5^th grade class.

February
2/1 – 2/14 – Teacher Valentine Card Fundraiser. All proceeds to benefit 5^th grade class.
2/14 – Dance-A-Thon. 5^th grade dance to raise money for the class.

March
TBD – Fifth Grade Friday Fun Night. All proceeds to benefit 5^th grade class.

April
TBD – Are You Smarter than a 5^th Grader? South Mountain Alumni play with the current 5^th grade superstars in this fun filled game show.  All proceeds to benefit the 5^th grade class.
4/28-4/29 – Fifth Grade Camping Trip. All the fundraising pays off on this fantastic overnight trip.

June
6/9 – T-shirts with all 5^th graders’ names are distributed in time for school spirit day.
TBD – Safety Patrol Party. All members of the safety patrol are invited as a thank you for their hard work throughout the year.
TBD – End of the Year Class Party. The entire 5^th grade is invited for a day of fun.  Either a pool party or a field day featuring games, music and food.
TBD – Yearbooks. Covering all the fun and hard work of the year, the books are distributed to every 5^th grader.
6/22 – Moving Up Ceremony/DVD. Watch as our superstars end their elementary school days.  Take home a copy of the DVD shown during the ceremony as a final memory of South Mountain.
