Students Have a Ball with Cinderella

It was a fairy tale ending on Friday at South Mountain Elementary School. Children danced under the twinkling of lights, ate cake shaped liked castles, and dressed as mice, pumpkins, prince and princesses.

The ball was the culmination of a third-grade unit studying Cinderella stories from around the world. Students published their own folk tales, the story of Snowella and more, as they related their characters to playground bullies and created their own happily ever lasting endings.
