Programming

The 2011-12 programming team develops and creates programs that enrich our South Mountain community. The overarching theme throughout our programs is to provide opportunities to build and strengthen our community of families, administrators, teachers and staff. The many volunteers in our community make it feasible to have co-chairs for each event along with long lists of people who are willing to help make every event a fulfilling reality.

In the beginning of the year, we spend our efforts welcoming and transitioning with events such as:

Kindergarten Meet & Greet
First Day of School Welcome Coffee
- 9/6
New Parent Reception
Ice Cream Social
– 9/8 5pm

Other examples of events that help us provide enrichment and build community throughout the year:

Fall Festival – We need volunteers to help us plan and execute a traditional fall festival, including pumpkin patch and all the fixings.
Roller Skating Night
(Thursday, January 19th)
Staff Appreciation Lunch

Spring Art Show & Concert (Thursday, May 24th)
