A brief overview of our district medical policies
.) If your child has a health care problem, such as asthma, food or other allergies, please inform the school nurse.
.) If your child is diagnosed with a contagious illness, such as strep throat, conjunctivitis, a doctor’s note is required to return to school.
.) If your child isn’t feeling well prior to the school day or has a fever, please keep them at home.
.) All medication is to be given to the nurse, including OTC medications (Tylenol, Cough Drops, etc). All medications to be given at school, must have a district medication form filled out,  signed by your child’s physician. The medication must be sent in the original container and brought it by the parent.
.) If your child is injured outside of school and requires crutches and/or a cast or splint has been applied, please inform the school nurse of their condition prior to their return. So appropriate arrangements can be made for their safety in school.
