Each year our students, faculty, and parent community set aside one special day in the month of May to celebrate being a South Mountain Superstar.

The theme for the day is BLUE and YELLOW, and the goal for the day is to have FUN, FUN, FUN.

Students prepare for School Spirit Day by learning and reviewing relay events and group games that will be a large part of their special day. After the games are reviewed and learned it’s time to put on your best Spirit Day outfit. School colors are a must on this festive day. From the simplest blue and yellow shirts and shorts to the craziest of bandannas and hair paints, our Superstars come dressed for success.

The Superstars get fired up during our all school assembly program from all the SPIRIT and EMOTION instilled in them by their teachers and friends. Games and school spirit are the focus of the afternoon, but fun seems to prevail as the end result each year. Spirit Day is on the way, so start gathering your school colors and get ready for another action-packed day in the sunny month of May.
